Jesse is a cut above the rest!
We’re so proud of our apprentice, Jesse, who’s won a major award.
Richard Pearce apprentice, Jesse has been judged Apprentice of the Year in a prestigious competition. Jesse, a level three apprentice at our Aldwick hair salon scooped the award in the final at the L’Oreal Academy in London. He won his regional heat at Chichester College and went on to beat five other finalists in London on Friday 9th March. The judging panel of celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford and guest London stylists gave him the top accolade in the Cut and Colour category.
We are all very proud of Jesse. He’s a talented stylist who’s done brilliantly to win. He put a lot of thought and preparation into the look he created. We thought the finish looked beautiful, with skilful use of colours and stunning waves. The judges thought so too!
Jesse is pictured above right with model, Chelsea, and Lee Stafford. He created his winning ‘Cut and Colour’ with a blend of browns and blonds. He says, ‘I love creating the right look for the client. I wanted a soft wearable, on trend blend of colour’.
He is set to become a fully-fledged stylist at Richard Pearce Hairdressing in Aldwick Street, Aldwick early this summer.
